Hello all you pretty people, from sunny san diego! (although it is a bit overcast at the moment - and we are confused.) Rosie and I have been having a lovely time over the past few days, just living the life, you know how we do. It's been a fantastic mix of touristy things (sunday in balboa park - all the countries at the international village were giving out free food from their country!), laziness (sleeping at LEAST 11 hours every day and watching our way through the entire season 2 of Weeds - so good!), and athletic ventures (long walks on the beach, hiking up mountains, etc). Our looong sleeps have also given us ridiculous crazy dreams, so we spend a fair amount of time analyzing those as well. (Last night, Rosie went on a ride in a white van and talked philosophy with strangers and I spent all night at a raucous jewish (?) party).
We've also spent a substantial amount of time eating (how surprising), thinking about eating (duh), and concocting delicious food creations (a la jess joy/rose) from essential ingredients such as FROZEN YOGURT (a southern california staple) and avocados (obvi). We just made awesome quesadillas, complete with guacamole and refried beans - for breakfast. Last night, Rosie, her parents and I all went to eat 99cent fish tacos at the local mexican eatery and then saw Up in 3D! I wish I could have taken a photo of all of us in our glasses - we looked baller! Tonight we're thinking about participating in UCSD's undy run (it's their finals week) and then hitting up a few gays bars with rosie's hilarious friends. Should be a good time (if we don't get arrested). Wishing you guys were here to bask in the glorious california sunshine!
